About Diana

Diana, licensed private tour guide in Barcelona

Born and raised in the province of Barcelona, I still remember asking my mother to stop in front of the Sagrada Família when I was a child, just so I could admire its beauty for a little longer. Today, one of my greatest pleasures is seeing that same sense of wonder on visitors’ faces when they discover it for the first time.

I studied Tourism at ESADE University in Barcelona and later continued my studies in the United Kingdom. I also had the opportunity to live abroad for several years, in France, the UK and Germany, experiences that helped me understand different cultures and ways of travelling.

After working on a European Union project, I realised that my true passion was sharing the art, history and stories of my own city. I decided to become a professional tour guide in Barcelona, combining my love for Catalan culture with my joy in welcoming visitors from around the world.

I am an Official Guide of Catalonia, licence number GT-003299, authorised since 2021. Since then, I have guided thousands of visitors through Barcelona in Catalan, Spanish, English and French.

I am also a member of AGUICAT, the Association of Tourism Guides Accredited by the Government of Catalonia for Responsible, Quality Tourism.

As a mother of two young children, I especially enjoy creating tours for families. I love helping children discover Barcelona through games, clues and treasure hunts, making the city feel exciting, memorable and alive while they learn almost without noticing.

I also believe that a good tour should never feel rushed. I enjoy guiding at a calm, comfortable pace, adapting to each guest’s interests, rhythm and needs. Whether you are travelling with children, older relatives or simply looking for a more relaxed experience, my aim is to make every visit enjoyable, personal and meaningful.

I am also particularly sensitive to the needs of guests with hearing difficulties. Several people in my own family have hearing loss, so I understand how important clear communication can be. I have also taken speech and vocalisation training to help me speak more clearly and make my explanations easier to follow.

After guiding thousands of visitors, I feel very lucky to do work that I truly love. For me, guiding is not only a profession, but a way of sharing the city, its stories and its beauty with care, warmth and attention to every guest.
